Join our Pioneer 10 project challenge and show us what you can do with Axelera AI’s powerful Metis platform and a project kit with some great hardware to get you where you’re going. Your mission: Detect something in the real world—and make something happen. 🎯 The Challenge Create a project where computer vision triggers a meaningful, real-world response. Think smart notifications, voice alerts, automated systems, IoT interactions—anything that goes beyond detection and does something in the physical world around you. Excited to join in with Axelera AI’s first ever project challenge, but have a few questions before you get building? This FAQ might help, and feel free to join the group and post any other questions in the comments. 🖖 Pioneer 10: Recognize and React Project Challenge FAQ Q: Is the Project Kit free? 🟢 Yes! If your project pitch is selected, you’ll receive a full Project Kit (worth over €1,500) at no cost. And you keep it upon completion of your project, too. Q: Can we apply as a team? 👥 Absolutely—teams are welcome. Just note that each selected project will receive one kit, so you’ll need to share it. Q: What kind of projects can I pitch? 🔧 Anything that uses the Axelera AI Metis system and triggers a real-world action based on what it detects. Get creative—think alerts, robotics, automation, IoT, even music and art! AI detection is the first step, and a real-world action is the next one. As long as your project does both, you’re all good. Q: Do I have to use the entire kit? 🧩 Not

These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern the participation in any Axelera AI project challenge as described in clause 1.1 (the “Challenge”) and the access to use any project kit (the “Kit”) which has been made available by Axelera AI B.V. (“Axelera AI”) in relation to the Challenge. By applying, participating, or submitting any content, you agree to and accept the following terms issued by Axelera AI, registered in the Netherlands and headquartered in Eindhoven. 1. Key Terms 1.1 Challenge Name Pioneer 10: Recognize and React 1.2 Timeline Application Period: 15th May - 1st June, 2025 Participants Selected: 9th-11th June, 2025 Build Phase: 9th June-13th July, 2025 Project Submission Deadline: 14th July Winners Announced: 18th July 1.3 The Kit Selected participants who will participate in the Challenge (the “Participants”) may receive access to a Kit consisting of hardware and components.
