@Victor Labian I’m also trying to setup rpi5 with metis m2. I have question what host OS you was using and have you changed anything in config.txt?

this is the solution with original power plug

one guess I got … has it enough power?

sudo rpi-eeprom-config --edit
oall]
PCIE_PROBE=1
BOOT_UART=1
BOOT_ORDER=0xf461
PSU_MAX_CURRENT=5000

and in /boot/firmware/config.txt at the bottom

dtparam=pciex1_gen2
dtparam=pciex1_gen=2
dtparam=nvme
sudo reboot

Thank you very much @florit for sharing the details that made it work in your setup.

We are sure this can be really helpful to other community users and we appreciate the initiative to share it here.

Best,

Victor

Let me share another thing … a link to the first case I´ve brought it to work with gen3 support

I built a NAS around a Raspberry Pi a while ago (quite a while ago, now) and a case like this would have been perfect for it.
