We frequently attend trade shows and aim to stand out from the competition. Showcasing compelling demos is a key strategy to achieve this. Which demos would most effectively highlight the unique strengths of our product?

Hey! I just joined the community a few days ago 😅

So… I'd say go for something flashy — something that makes people stop mid-scroll IRL.

Picture this:
You're walking into a trade show or exhibition then suddenly… a drone descends from the ceiling, tracks you, and says “Hi.”
It kicks off a mini NLP session:

"Are you looking for the conference hall?"

If not, it politely offers to guide you to your booth. It then flies you there.

Behind the scenes: a couple of Metis chips are running the whole show like air traffic control.

The Drone

  • Watches the entrance using object detection

  • Picks a person, gently flies down (with built-in safety!)

  • Snaps a quick face pic for future recognition

  • Conversation powered by NLP, trained on conference-use phrases

  • If needed, it leads them to your booth using A* or Dijkstra’s algorithm
(Sketch running on an ESP32 or Arduino )

The drone could even act as a physical assistant — not just a camera on wings.

The Communication Setup

  • Uses compact IFA or PIFA antennas on the drone (2.4 GHz)

  • All images and metadata go to your booth hub for model updating

  • The booth uses:

    • MIMO antennas (3 x 120° for near-omnidirectional)

    • Raspberry Pi + Axelera Metis for real-time inference and orchestration

I think the next wave of assistants isn’t just smarter brains — it’s giving them bodies too 😂🤖
