I might as well kick this off 😃

I’m Spanner (my real name and a boring story), and I’m the community manager here at Axelera AI, so I’ll be getting to know everyone on here pretty well.

I’m based in the UK, and if you need help with anything Axelera related, you can always come to me. I’ll be on this community all day and watching everything, so just make a post and @mention me any time you need something.

Especially in terms of customising the Axelera AI community. This is still early days, so lots of improvements and upgrades we can make, so let me know all your ideas.

Okay, who’s next?!

Hi Folks,

Since we don’t want Spanner to become ‘Spammer’, I figured I’d throw something on here!

I’m Steven, a solutions expert at Axelera AI. I mainly take responsibility of setting up demos for shows, finding new applications for our products, and helping customers/the community with their applications. You may (have) also see(n) me at shows, where I help promoting our amazing products.

Like Spanner, I will be keeping an eye on our community and lend a hand where possible.

Next, I hand the baton to Jaydeep!

Law and AI! That’s going to become an increasingly fascinating combination in the future! I mean, I imagine it is right now, but that’s going to make for a really amazing career 😃

Welcome to Axelera, @Semih_ ✊

Hi 👋 I’m Tasker

I’m not a Nigerian Prince 🤴—just a regular Nigerian young adult trying to break into the international scene.

I graduated in 2024 from Covenant University with a degree in Information and Communication Engineering. I got really into AI/ML during the whole ChatGPT boom (it was also the topic of my undergrad thesis). Since then, I’ve been bouncing around Coursera—finishing some courses, getting halfway through others.

My main challenge has been that while I’ve done a few software and research-based projects, I haven’t really touched hardware or edge-related stuff. That’s why, when I saw the Axelera ad and now this community, it just felt right. 😳

Hello everyone,

I am Shashi, Co-Founder and CTO of DeGirum, a SW company focused on simplifying edge AI development. Our PySDK makes application development with different AI accelerators easy by providing a unified abstraction that works with multiple hardware options using simple APIs. We just finished integrating Axelera to PySDK and are very excited about the various applications it can enable. We also have DeGirum AI Hub that provides remote access to multiple HW options as well as ready-to-use models for different use cases. Soon, we will add a cloud compiler for Axelera to help users compile models in a single click.

Looking forward to being a part of the community and help users get started quickly.

Hi

I am Anil Patel ( akrund) , I worked at Intel for 28 years, focused on DC and storage infrastructure technical sales and enablement. as We were working on a project with customer for enabling inferencing solution, we were looking for low power inferencing cards ( our own wasn’t a good fit). So while researching I came across Axelera Solution, Looks interesting and very much in range.

I have worked with Intel for 28 years and have seen many transitions but this one is significant and specially at edge AI, which will create array/armies of Intelligent machines and productivity level they will generate, will look for more updates on Axelera..

Thank you.

Hello everyone,

My name is Darmen Ilyas, and I’m passionate about AI accelerators. That interest led me to write my master’s thesis on Tightly Coupled Accelerators for the VeeR EH1 core. I’m currently in the EMM Nano master’s program, where I took the same computer architecture courses at KU Leuven as Axelera’s CEO once did.

The professor who taught that course inspired me to pursue a career in computer architecture design. That’s why I joined a startup in Dresden focused on NPUs for autonomous driving.

It’s exciting to see companies like Axelera AI leading the way with innovative solutions for Edge AI. I’d be thrilled to join your team one day as a hardware engineer.

Best regards,
Darmen Ilyas

Hello everyone! My name is Jaime Andrés Rincón Arango, and I'm very happy to join the Axelera AI community. I’m a lecturer and researcher at the University of Burgos (Spain), where I work at the intersection of robotics, edge AI, IoT systems, and intelligent healthcare technologies.

My background spans biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, and robotics development, and I’m particularly passionate about creating solutions that combine efficient deep learning, real-time embedded inference, and multi-sensor systems for practical applications.

Some of my current projects include:

  • 🤖 Development of robotic manipulation systems using ACT-based models, multimodal learning, and real-time control pipelines.

  • 📡 Edge-AI architectures for biosignal monitoring (ECG, PPG, GSR) using low-power devices like ESP32 and Nordic boards.

  • 🌐 Integration of federated learning with distributed agents and IoT nodes for collaborative model training.

  • 🏥 AI-driven systems for health monitoring, combining wearable sensors, ML models, and next-generation communication frameworks.

I’m excited to learn from the community and explore how Axelera’s powerful edge-AI hardware and software ecosystem can enhance my work in robotics, real-time perception, and eHealth monitoring.

Looking forward to connecting with all of you! 🚀🤖✨

Hi everyone!

My name is Andy, I’m based in Luxembourg and currently working in the social media field. My background is in Technical Computer Science, although my studies are on hold due to health reasons. During my recovery I met many people who were dealing with far more difficult situations than my own, and that completely changed my perspective. It sparked a strong desire in me to build something that genuinely helps others.

This led to the idea of starting a non-profit organisation in the Benelux region focused on improving accessibility for people with disabilities, especially individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or deaf-mute. My goal is to develop solutions that combine vision and audio systems to help them navigate, communicate, and interact more independently.

My current prototype runs on a Jetson Orin NX, but it simply can’t deliver the performance needed for my vision. When I discovered Axelera’s products, something clicked. The performance-per-watt, the edge-first approach, the local processing!! Everything aligned perfectly with what I want to build. For the first time, the technical bottleneck didn’t feel like a wall but like something solvable. I can’t wait to get my hands on the Metis M.2 Max.

I’m excited to join this community, learn from all of you, and hopefully share meaningful progress as I continue developing this project. The posts and discussions I’ve already read here have been incredibly inspiring.

Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Andy / riQchet
