Hello beautiful community!

Joining late, just noticed this on LinkedIn. My name is Joseph-Daniel Kurazs, I’m a senior embedded and systems software engineer focused on performance-critical, low-level development close to hardware. I also have solid experience building and consuming backend REST APIs, especially in systems where reliability, scalability, and clean interfaces matter.

My main interest is building a fully offline, edge-based AI with natural audio interaction, and I’m here to learn, share, and help turn Smarter Spaces into something practical, efficient, and genuinely usable in real environments. I’m especially excited about making this AI feel like a real part of the family: something that can have conversations with each family member, help them when they need it, and provide useful information on request, including relevant internet search results when connected.

Looking forward to exploring ideas with you all.

Hello beautiful community!

Hi there @kjd ! Welcome to the big show, great to have you here! Great project idea too. I’ve been talking to Alexa as part of my home automation system for ages, and if anything it’s actually getting worse. I’ve been tinkering in the background to build in something much more conversational, so really interested to follow your progres with this.

I have to say, I’ve been really interested in what I’ve read about MoltBot over the last week or so! I know there are some big security questions that need answering yet, but the foundational work looks really cool.

Hello everyone,

I’m Ottavio Campana, Director of R&D at a leading camera manufacturer.

With years of experience in embedded Linux, video compression, transmission, and standards for video surveillance, I’ve built a strong technical foundation. However, today I’m not here to discuss video.

A close friend of mine has a blind daughter, and I’m exploring ways to create a customized smart home solution—similar to Home Assistant Green—but with a strong focus on voice commands and local processing. My goal is to ensure full compliance with EU GDPR and the AI Act.

I’m particularly interested in understanding whether Axelera’s technology could serve as the foundational building block for this project.

Hi, my name is Joshua, i am a former Navy Nuclear Operator turned Artist/Musician with a fascination for AI. A few years ago I started my own Company, PSYAI LLC, for my home-brew audio applications. After alot of hard work, and still with a long way to go, ive leaned into AI solutions hard, and im really excited to add an Axelera Metis onto my Orion O6, which has the task of orchestrating a modular synthesis engine in which each node has its own esp32-p4c5-A1. i also have a few other SBCs in the mix and am developing with Tensilica SDK. Im really grateful to be exposed to so many talented and intresting individuals and its an honor and a pleasure to join your community.

Wow, love the sound of all of this! Do keep us posted on how all of this goes - I’ve not heard about anyone else approaching it in this way, so this is really exciting stuff! Welcome on board @Joshuasca !
