The Metis architecture is designed to support parallel execution of neural networks, yep. It can also take multiple parellel inputs (from a bunch of cameras, for example), and the PCIe card has four AIPUs for parallel execution across multiple cores.

In terms of running multiple cards in parallel on the same machine, you can actually see that in action here! Three cards in there, I think.
