🎉 The Pioneer 10 Have Been Selected! 🚀

We’re thrilled to finally unveil the 10 incredible projects selected to receive an Axelera AI Project Kit and bring their AI innovation to life. It took a bit of time to finalise the list (all the ideas we received were genuinely that good ), but the wait is over…

Here are the projects we’re proud to support through the building phase of the challenge:

@hmsbAXL - Intelligent Low-Cost Door Surveillance System: Ring-style face recognition doorbell with local inference.
@farouqfahm - DrainSentinel: Detects drain blockages and alerts Lagos sanitation authorities.
@saadtiwana - Sauron – The Intelligent Gimbal: Tracks illegal boat activity using AI and gimbal camera.
️@aly.elghanam - failsafe3d: AI failure detector for 3D printers with mobile alerts and pause control.
@shabaz - ANPR-for-All: A drop-in vehicle license plate recognition engine for gates, tracking, and fleet automation.
@ahmadradhy - Smart Coffee Sorter: AI vision system that classifies and sorts coffee fruits.

Huge congratulations to our Pioneer 10 – your ideas really blew our minds. To everyone else: your submissions were all genuinely outstanding. This selection has been seriously tough, and caused arguments within the company that have ruined some friendships forever - that’s how good they were.

If we could send out 100 kits, we would. This definitely won’t be the last Axelera AI challenge, so stay tuned for more.
